Not gonna lie, I totally forgot I had a newsletter. One of my resolutions is to actually use it this year hahaha
I hope you’ve had a wonderful holiday season and are feeling refreshed and ready to dive into a new year filled with great books. As we step into 2025, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the past year and share some exciting updates with you.
🌟 A Look Back at 2024
2024 was a massive year of new book releases for me:
Knives, Seasoning, and A Dash of Love was not only picked up by the lovely folks at Random House Canada, but it was also a Chapters Indigo bestseller! What an absolute dream!
The Last Dragon of the East released only two months later in October and was an instant Chapters Indigo bestseller as well! I’m not going to lie—I absolutely started crying happy tears.
As always, your support means the world to me, and I’m so grateful for every email, message, and review you’ve shared. It’s truly an honor to have you with me as I continue to write and create.
✨ What’s Coming in 2025?
So… Technically nothing. 😅
The Legend of the Nine-Tailed Fox, my forthcoming fantasy novel heavily inspired by Chinese myth and folklore, was originally scheduled to release in October. But due to various unforeseen circumstances, it has now been pushed to January 2026. WORRY NOT! You’ll get to meet Yue very very soon hehe 😈
That being said, there’s still lots to look forward to!

I am also currently working on a brand-new contemporary romance. If you like black cat x golden retriever energy, heist hijinks, and an FMC with mommy issues—this one is definitely for you! I’ll have more information at a later date, so be sure to stay tuned.
